It’s about choices and really good care. Our team of physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers, chaplains and trained volunteers provides specialized medical care; emotional, spiritual and social support. We provide medical services, equipment, supplies, medications and training to manage your care. Cost is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, most commercial insurances and donations. There is no out-of-pocket cost to the patient or family. Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast serves Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Putnam, Suwannee, and Union counties.
Camp Good Hope (for children age 6 through grade 5) and Teen Encounter (for middle/high school students) are daylong camps that provide age-appropriate activities for children/teens who have experienced a loss. There is no cost. The next camp will be held on Saturday, November 4, at Fort Cooper State Park in Inverness.
